Arif Maftuhin is Professor of Islamic Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Dakwah and Communication at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. He teaches and conducts research on Islamic law, Islamic philanthropy, disability studies, and Islamic studies. He previously served as Head of the Center for Disability Services (PLD) and is Editor-in-Chief of INKLUSI Journal of Disability Studies. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
