In this article, I explore the increasing awareness of fulfilling the rights of people with disabilities (PWDs) in Indonesia. Notably, Indonesia's two most prominent Islamic organizations, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah, have issued fatwas concerning Islam and disabilities: NU's "Fiqih Penguatan Penyandang Disabilitas" and Muhammadiyah's "Fikih Difabel."

However, prior research has overlooked a crucial intersection between Islamic law, women's rights, and disability issues. My article focuses on the unique contribution of women with disabilities in the formulation of these fatwas and their approach to addressing issues concerning women with disabilities.
